Cream Puff Innovation - Serendipity Sweets

Along with my friend Clarice, we founded Serendipity Sweets, a non-profit that was dedicated to bring everyone on a journey to re-discover Vancouver’s community and its people. ​ Rather than selling cream puffs and other desserts, we wanted to sell an experience of Serendipity. Introducing you to youth organizations in the community, we hope to inspire you with ideas to bring your own contribution to the community. Through the themed cream puffs, we are also encouraging everyone to explore the beauty of the Vancouver community we live in. By tying food with my interest in entrepreneurship, I earned hands-on experience in managing a business, got to understand more about the creation of cream puffs and how to more creatively decorate desserts, and donated $507 to youth initiatives on top of breaking even and getting new equipment.
